Institutional Projects

At Riverside School, we believe in learning through action, fostering empathy, responsibility, and a sense of purpose in our students through meaningful community engagement.

Love Thy Neighbour

Guided by our motto, "Love Thy Neighbour," Riverside organizes Community Days once a month to support and stay connected with the organizations we sponsor: Sueñitos Nursery, Comedor Mamá María, and Casa de Galilea Community Center. These are solidarity drives, collecting essential items and resources for these organizations. Our Secondary School students visit Casa de Galilea every week to assist with activities, offering their time and talents to build relationships and learn the value of service through direct involvement.

Riverside Green

Through Riverside Green, we promote environmental awareness and sustainability across the community. We organize the Envirothon in collaboration with ESSARP, where students work together to address environmental challenges, and we participate in the international Decarbonize project, contributing to global discussions and actions on climate change. Throughout the year, we celebrate environmental dates such as World Earth Day, Ocean Day, and others, engaging our community in learning and taking action to protect our planet.

These projects are a fundamental part of Riverside's identity, allowing our students to understand their role in building a more just, supportive, and sustainable society while developing skills and values that will accompany them throughout their lives.
