History
The roots of Riverside School lie in The Doll's House Kindergarten, an institution founded in 1950 in La Lucila. In its early years, it specialised in preparing boys and girls for entry into the most prestigious bilingual schools in the area, establishing a standard of academic excellence from the very beginning.
In 1991, under the leadership of Mrs Adela Fraguglia de Landi, the project expanded to higher academic levels with the foundation of Riverside School. The vision was clear: to accompany each pupil throughout their entire school journey. Thus, Primary and, subsequently, Secondary School were incorporated, consolidating an approach based on holistic education, global citizenship and deep bilingualism.
The year 2000 marked a milestone with Mariana Luque joining the educational project and the relocation to a larger site in Acassuso. That same year, the school proudly celebrated its first cohort of graduates. By 2014, the three pedagogical levels were formally integrated under the name Riverside School, defining its academic orientation in Humanities and Social Sciences.
Today, Riverside School transcends its chronology to establish itself as a place where tradition and innovation converge. Our history is, above all, a testament to an unalterable commitment to values-based education. Under our motto "Love thy Neighbour", we develop individuals of integrity and empathy, capable of engaging with the world with curiosity and an ethical sensitivity that distinguishes them as global citizens committed to their community.
